The ability to bring artists together to share knowledge, ideas, and passion is a byproduct of the community we have had help building since opening last December. Workshops will help to continue to bring awareness to Tulsans about how much local talent exists, and to inspire more artists to step out into the public view. Tulsa Artery will soon be announcing that we are teaming up with a new, young group interested in targeting student artists and offering resources and studio space. This new project, located in Kendall Whittier District, will provide the space needed for workshops of many varieties. Artists of all levels of experience are welcome to send proposals for workshops. If an idea is there, but the execution is incomplete, the Artery will not abandon our role as a resource center and will be happy to assist in bringing the workshop to reality. We will approach the workshop proposal submissions in the same manner as all previous art submissions. All entries are welcome, and lack of experience should not hold anyone back.
